Become a member
To become a member of Mensa Luxembourg, you must have obtained a score in the top 2 % on a recognised IQ test and reside in Luxembourg.
Becoming a member means joining a community of people with very varied profiles, backgrounds and interests. Some come primarily to meet other people with whom they share certain experiences or ways of thinking; others for the activities, the exchanges, the opportunities to learn and discover, the international network, or the chance to volunteer and share their own interests and skills.
Membership gives access to the activities and resources reserved for Mensa Luxembourg members as well as to the international Mensa community. It can also be an opportunity to better understand how you function, to exchange experiences with other members and, quite simply, to build new relationships and enjoy good times together.
Being a member doesn’t mean having to fit a particular profile, take part in activities regularly, or get involved in running the association. Everyone is free to choose what they want to get out of their membership and how they wish to take part in Mensa life.

A session organised by Mensa Luxembourg, twice a year.
Provide an already recognised result
If you have already taken an official and recognized IQ test, you can send us your results. After verification and confirmation by our national Mensa psychologist, you can become a member. Online tests are not accepted.
The official test
- Culture-fair format: independent of native language
- Questions on logic, mathematics and analysis — no general knowledge, no school arithmetic
- Supervised by a psychologist
- Duration: 1 hour

- A free online pre-test is available to get a feel for the format — it isn’t calibrated and gives neither a real IQ score nor membership
Already a Mensa member elsewhere?
Are you already a Mensa member in another country but don’t live in Luxembourg? You can request guest status from Mensa Luxembourg in order to take part in activities. To do so, send us an email stating your Mensa ID number and your place of residence.
